Getting the most out of Lekkora

A walkthrough of setting up your shop, from your first catalog item to your first order — and on to your own storefront.

Getting started

When you first sign in you land on the Dashboard. It answers the question you actually have each morning: what is going out today, what is coming back, what is due tomorrow, and what you have taken in.

The tiles are customisable — use Customize Dashboard to keep the ones that matter to your shop and hide the rest. The search box at the top looks across inventory, customers and orders at once, so you can find a piece or a booking without knowing which section it lives in.

Set up your inventory

Inventory is split by what you do with a piece. There are separate catalogs for outfit rentals, outfit sales, jewellery rental, jewellery sales and accessories, plus general product catalogs you can rename to match whatever else you stock.

Add items one at a time from Inventory → Add outfit (or the equivalent for the catalog you are in), with photos, sizes, condition notes and category. If you already keep a spreadsheet, use Imports instead of typing it all in twice.

Set a low-stock threshold per category. When available quantity drops below it, the dashboard tells you before a customer does.

Check availability

Before you promise a date, use Check Availability at the top of the dashboard. It tells you whether a piece is free for the dates you are being asked about.

Once an order is confirmed, those dates block themselves for that item automatically. This is the single thing that stops the worst mistake in this business — two customers booked on the same piece for the same weekend.

Take and track orders

Each catalog has its own order type, so a rental and an outright sale never get muddled. Create one from Orders, or straight from the dashboard with Create outfit rental.

An order carries the customer, the dates, the delivery or pickup arrangement, and its payment state. As it moves through delivery, rental and return, the dashboard keeps the day’s work in front of you — including anything past its return date, so nothing quietly goes missing.

Customers are unlimited on every plan, and a customer’s history stays attached to them, so you can see what someone has taken before.

Stitching & alterations

Tailoring is its own order type. Blouse stitching, fittings, falls and alterations are tracked separately from pieces going out on rent, so a garment in the workroom is never mistaken for one on the shelf.

The dashboard shows what is open, what is ready, and what is due today, which is usually enough to run the workroom from.

Payments, deposits & invoices

Log advances and payments against the order as they happen — UPI, cash or card. Security deposits are tracked separately, so you always know what is being held and what has been returned.

Invoices carry your own branding. Set that up once under Settings → Invoice and Settings → Branding, and every invoice after that goes out looking like your shop.

Publish your storefront

Settings → Website is where your customer-facing store lives. Pick a theme, adjust colours and fonts, upload your logo, and choose which pages customers see — and what they are called, since you can rename them in your own words.

Products are made public from the inventory screens themselves: you choose which items appear, which are featured, and how they are described. Turn on the floating WhatsApp, Instagram and location shortcuts so an interested customer can reach you in one tap.

The public catalog is included with the Pro plan, and a custom domain can be added on Plus or Pro.

Email & WhatsApp updates

Configure sending under Settings → Email and Settings → WhatsApp. Plus adds a WhatsApp connect button; Pro adds WhatsApp notifications and broadcasts, which is how most shops tell their list that new stock has landed.

Reports & expenses

Reports → Shop Analytics shows your order trend over 30, 60 or 90 days or a year, your best-renting pieces ranked, and which categories are running low. It is the fastest way to see which stock earns its keep and which is just taking up space.

Reports → GST Reports produces the figures your accountant asks for. Record operating costs under Expenses so the monthly picture is complete.

Your team

Add staff under Settings → Admins. Each person gets their own login rather than sharing yours — 2 accounts on Starter, 5 on Plus, 10 on Pro. Everyone can work from their own phone or the shop counter at the same time.

Settings → Activity keeps a log of who changed what, retained for 90 days on Starter and 180 days on Plus and Pro. It is the quickest way to settle “who moved that booking?”.
